Dear Fifth Grade Parents,
My name is Karen McVay and I am going to be your teacher this year. I am extremely excited to be teaching your child while we explore math, science, and social studies. Your child will be taking classes for Language Arts and Bible with Mrs. Smith.
I want to introduce myself in person, but in the meantime here is a bit of information about me and my family. I am married to Philip McVay, a United Methodist minister. We have three daughters: Mallory who is married to Brian Wilson and is living in Birmingham, Brooke who will be a sophomore at Auburn, and Haley, who will be a senior at Trinity this year. I grew up in Florida and have lived in either Montgomery or Pensacola for the past 25 years. Throughout my teaching career I have taught all grades from kindergarten to sixth. I am blessed to join the Trinity family where I can express my love of teaching through my faith.
